Natural Bridge
Rockbridge County, Virginia
The Natural Bridge is a geological formation. Cedar Creek, a small tributary of the James River, carved out a gorge in the mountainous limestone terrain, forming a natural arch 215 ft (66 m) high with a span of 90 ft (27 m). Natural Bridge is a Virginia Historic Landmark and a National Historic Landmark.
In addition to the Natural Bridge, visitors can experience the Butterflies at the Bridge exhibit, Caverns at Natural Bridge, and the Monacan Indian Living History Experience.
