After playing to a scoreless first half, the Seahawks found the back of the net repeatedly in the second half despite excellent net tending by Saints goalkeeper Lizzie Roeble (14 saves on 21 shots).
The Seahawks scoring came from five different players including former Saint Kari Cunard who scored on a breakaway in the opening minute of the second half. The Seahawks capitalized on two of their six cornerkicks and added an additional breakaway goal.
Facing the Seahawks 3-0 advantage, senior captain Becky Rey prevented a shutout and capitalized on her own breakaway to get the Saint's on the board.
The Saints game stats included eight shots on goal and one corner kick opportunity.
