Photographer's Note. I have been standing on the soccer field sideline snapping photos for fun for the past 30 years. A 110 instamatic captured my husband on the pitch for Mount St. Mary's College; a 35mm Minolta followed my three girls through the early years of Bowie Boys and Girls Club, CMSSL, BBSL, and WAGS; and a Sony DSLR now captures the action on the college, high schoo,l and travel club fields.

I snap hundreds of photos as I follow the story of the game. As you page through the shots, you will see the single moment perfect action shot, but you will also find many series of shots as players execute defensive and offensive moves, sprint down the field on a breakaway, or scramble in front of the net on a corner kick. There are also pregame warmup shots, sideline moments, and scoreboard updates.

I am just a mom on the sideline watching a game through a lens and sharing those moments with you.
